article starts..."Graham Capill completed a spectacular fall from grace today when he was jailed for nine years on child sex charges.
As Christian Heritage Party leader, Graham Capill spoke out against sex before marriage and spent almost 14 years espousing "pro-family" policies.
But the life he led proved far from the moralistic one he preached, as one by one allegations he had indecently assaulted and raped girls emerged.
Capill, 46, last month pleaded guilty in Christchurch District Court to rape, unlawful sexual connection, and three counts of indecent assault against two girls under 12.
He had earlier pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting an eight-year-old girl over a one-year period." end of article.
Until we separate fantasy belief systems from law, politics and education we are in trouble.
I ask because, even though any type of rape is one of the worst things a person can do, anal rape somehow seems 100 times worse. To me anyway.
Many states in the U.S. used to define sodomy as "any sexual intercourse other than penile-vaginal..." So, oral sex, anal sex and any other mutual sexual gratification other than that expressed by the statutes could actually be punishable, usually as a misdemeanor. Most states have removed it from the books (because most fat, white, doughy state officials can't go ON without their hummers ;) ), but I wouldn't be surprised to see some "bible belt" states keeping it WAAAYYY in the back of the books, just in case some "weirdo with ideas of sexual experimentaion" makes his (or her) way into their fine, god-fearing community.
