YouTube has banned a group called the Rational Response Squad after it complained its videos were being taken down due to spurious DMCA requests from creationists. The takedown followed copyright requests sent by Creation Science Evangelism Ministries, an organization founded by currently-imprisoned tax evader Kent Hovind. The Squad says the clips comprise material that is either public domain, covered by fair use, or entirely self-produced.
This again highlights a central problem with the DMCA, namely that it forces takedowns without any kind of review, and puts the burden on proof on the "defendant" to show that its material is non-infringing. But to ban people for protesting when the process has been used illegitimately is something entirely different. The creationist ministry's own website said that "none of the materials ... are copyrighted, so feel free to copy these and distribute them freely."
Looks like someone at the YouTube control center doesn't like to think about Satan's old bones.

The fact that we have a law that says, if you tamper with something you have a right to quote for the purpose of critique, we will still label your activities criminal, is idiotic.
Jeers on Creationists for attacking the method the critique comes from, and not attack the message on its merits/problems.
Booyah, motherfucker.
http://o2d.blogspot.com/
Creationists can't defend their ideas on their merits because there are none.
All they have in their arsenal are dirty tricks, deceptions, quote mines and outright lies.
I'm glad they're being forced to play by the rules once again, but they'll keep resorting to their old ways ASAP, count on it.
As if athesits don't try to silence their opponents.
Call the FFRF, they are always trying to sue someone into oblivion.
I wonder how much money they make off that?
Must be a chunk...Dan Barkers has been at it for 20 plus years.
They aren't living off of 20 dollar donations I bet.
Let's assume for the moment that you are right, that atheists try to silence their opponents using clandestine practices (which, in fact, is what you're inferring by your comment). If that is the case, should not the onus be on the faithful to "rise above" the dishonesty and conduct themselves in an honorable fashion? After all, they are the ones claiming to have superior morality and be serving a righteous cause. How is engaging in fraud righteous? Or are the faithful only righteous when it suits them... and when it doesn't, "What's good for the goose is good for the gander," is perfectly acceptable?
Horseman
And you are quite correct, the faithful thing to do is rise above it and turn the other cheek.
Of course, I do not claim to be that good...I am merely pointing out atheist duplicity, which you have admitted.
"...Hahahahahahaha!!!
As if athesits don't try to silence their opponents.
Call the FFRF,[etc]..."
They're not trying to "silence" anyone; they're just trying to pry the fundies' ever-greedy fingers off the publicly funded megaphone, such as the school system and the currency, etc. As far as they're concerned, Xtians can knock themselves out in the churches and even in the streets.
"Call the FFRF, they are always trying to sue someone into oblivion.

You would know if you were a member. They send out such information to their people every year. And I'll tell you this: it ain't what you think!
Has anyone taken a good look at the Christian channels on YouTube? Many of them have "pending approval" set up on their comments so they can filter out the criticism and leave only the fellow believers with their glowing comments. The DMCAs are just a new offensive for them, along with spam flagging which has cropped up in the last few days.
May the shame and the blood of the millions people, died and suffering thx to religions, can suffocate you. Fu****g bastards...
"Waah, I is be a Christians and I is am be hatedededed by alls no-Christian befores they are hatings the truths and these is be a Christians country and when no-Christianseseses tryings to arguesify they pointed why that is anti-Christian bigotry!"
Me, to All Christians Addressing all Non-Christians:
Zzzz.
Give me a break.
I, for one, am sick and tired of Christians playing the Two Wrongs Make A Right card. No, Christians, you are not pointing out hypocritical behavior in atheists, despite the fact that you think you are. It's a lovely fantasy, but like all fantaies, is pretty much devoid of merit and realistic qualities. If you're going to point out hypocrisy in atheists, it might work in your favor to list the specific offenses and then supply that most hated of relics: EVIDENCE.
