News of interest to former Christians

Tyrone Moore appears on South Carolina's sex offender registry.

On Sundays, he also appears behind the pulpit at a nondenominational North Charleston church.

Police on Tuesday arrested the senior pastor at Full Word Ministries on a new charge of second- degree criminal sexual conduct.

An arrest warrant affidavit accuses Moore, 39, of performing sex acts on a male parishioner in 2002 and 2003, when the parishioner was 17 years old. Moore's past criminal record includes a 1989 conviction for committing a lewd act on a child under 16 and a 1991 conviction for criminal sexual conduct with a minor between the ages of 11 and 14, according to State Law Enforcement Division records.

During a bond hearing Wednesday, much of the discussion centered around whether Moore would be able to return to preach.

"I think the state would be imposing on his religion if he's not allowed to come to his church," said attorney George Counts, who represented Moore during the hearing. "It's a church that he founded."

A victims advocate for North Charleston police, Lisa Bullard, countered by asking, "If he's allowed to return, what message does that send to the victim?"

"I really believe he is sick," the accuser said of Moore during the hearing. "He has done this before and I believe he'll do it again."

Charleston County Magistrate Patricia Baldwin set several conditions on Moore's $200,000 bail.

If he gets out of jail, he is not to be in the company of any children, including his own children, without another adult present. The judge barred him from any contact with the man who said he was abused.

This presented a dilemma. The accuser said he wanted to continue going to the church. Baldwin made him choose which of the two Sunday-morning services he would like to attend, and said Moore can only go to the other service.

The pastor's expression remained calm throughout the hearing, and he answered the judge's questions politely.

The attorney portrayed him as a family man with strong local ties and a dedication to his flock. Married, Moore has four children ages 4 to 16, Counts said. His wife and a woman identified as a family friend also attended.

"He's not a threat to the community," Counts said. "He's been here his entire life."

The victims advocate argued that Moore has been deceptive because he has two different addresses. The sex-offender registry lists one on Realm Street in North Charleston, yet an arrest warrant lists an address on Applebee Court in Goose Creek.

Counts said that he was only handling the bond hearing. Attorneys Carl Grant and Eduardo Curry will be taking over Moore's defense.

Full Word Ministries occupies a brick building at the corner of Gordon Street and Peacock Avenue in the Waylyn neighborhood. It sits directly across the street from the Garrett Academy of Technology.

North Charleston police arrested Moore at his church Tuesday. Their investigation began after the man who claimed to have suffered abuse spoke to a detective in January. Later, he mailed a letter to police detailing allegations of what was happening at the church.

No child should ever be left alone with any minister. There should always be a two person integrity rule. Perhaps three would be better if one of them is a minister, because the minister is a net loss. By their fruits ye shall know them.

Just another minute example of the bigger problem.
christstains emulate their god very well, by acting out all of the most perverse, sick and phsycotic behaviour only their sordid minds can imagine.
All the while believing that they are purer than the driven snow!

Any prick who wants to, can start TAX-FREE church with total control over little kids and teenagers.

Take away the tax free status, and make these jerks go through a strict licensing process before becoming dictators over innocent little children.

* Moore,get a real job and,..."leave those kid's alone"!

*go make some license plates.

Sexual abuse ~ the hidden pandemic, so taboo because so many men involved. It is time to FREE the children!
This one is yet another story for Moe's Dream, a site where an increasing number of priest-molested Victims can take solace, read other testimonies and yes, enjoy "Punch-style" cartoons directed at the Bishops who move priests from parish to parish.

To all of you Haters!!!!! Pastor Moore is a great man of God. Just because you read it in the papers doesn't mean it is true. If you don't know the facts Keep your mouths shut. What someone does in the past does not make that person. If you were judged by what you did in your past or even by what you are doing now we would see your face on the news and the internet too. Just think about that.

I thought about it! And you know what, my face is on the Internet!

However, I've never done what your "Man of God" has done, sexually abused innocent children.

But can you say with in your heart that you have never in your life mad a mistake. And then ask your self what if someone hashed up what you did in your past and used it against you.

I have never in my life pulled out my penis and tried to share it with a child.

Nope. I haven't done that, not even once.

It is absolutely ridiculus and silly to judge all ministers by the behavior of some. For all have sin and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). That means you and me. Often times people can become blinded by the mistakes by those in whom they love are making. And others become hostile and judgmental when they themselves need forgiveness. Thus, the blind often lead the blind...both falling in the ditch...And others feel vindicated when ministers and/or Christians make mistakes. Here's the conclusion: Jesus the Christ is the only perfect One...His blood was shed for the remission of sins...Therefore, all must call upon His name and confess their sins to receive eternal life (Romans 10:9-10)

Yep, Elder Tony sure knows what works on EX-christians when he comes to their website…quote scripture!

Jesus lived a perfect life because he is imaginary. In fantasyland, anyone can lead a perfect life.

Preachers come on here defending their kind, "all have sinned" why do you think that verse was written in the Bible to cover all christians asses.

With 100% blanket statement "all have sinned" that just about covers it all for everyone, this gives the self-righteous a built-in exclusion for self-forgiveness, imbecilic apologetics.

All have sinned...all have farted...all have sneezed...all have blinked their eyes...all have pissed.

Then they have another built-in exclusion "The flesh is weak, but the spirit is strong" another buil-in friggin lie.

The Bible and religions are nothing more than a smoke screen to commit crimes and run back to their imaginary Jesus to forgive them for things they knew where wrong in the first place.

You christians(cretins) are mentally ill!

"All have sin" does not serve as a loop hole to continue in sin. For it is also written: "Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are did to sin, live any longer therein? Romans 6:1-2. I am currently reading how the early Christians were killed and slaughtered for confessing their faith. It sounds as if some of you fellows would like to do that not only to fallen believers, but to those who are living according to God's Word. I tell you the truth: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus (Romans 6:23). The only reason that some of you are still breathing after dishonoring the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is simply and only because of His grace and mercy. But just as all have sin, all will one day stand before the Lord Jesus and give an account for their lives......Whatever you do, don't stand before God without the blood of Jesus applied to your sinful lives.....because every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11).

Elder Wallace, what have you been smoking? Accusing us of wanting to "kill and slaughter"?

And what does any of your Bible drivel have to do with the topic at hand -- A man who used a position of authority to prey on others? No matter how much you try to play the "all have sinned" card, any criminal acts committed by the accused pastor can not and will not be ignored. Nor can they be written off by virtue of some mythical "salvation".

Ponder this, if you will:

One of the criticisms regularly levelled at non-believers is "Well, if you don't believe in God, what's to stop you from doing anything you want?"

Now change that to "Well, if you think you can get forgiven for anything, what's to stop you from doing anything you want?"

IMO, religion is not (and never was) the great morals-instilling power that it pretends to be. If it can't stay the hand of the individuals called to ministry, and if it can't defend the victims of those individuals, it's ludicrous to accept its teachings on issues of "good" vs. "evil".

Elder Wallace, you're quoting garbage out of a book that was written over 2000 years ago.

The Bible was written to console ignorant superstitious people.

The Christians killed over 50 million native American Indians in the name of God and Jesus.

How dare you to day that Christians were ever persecuted!

Elder, I've read the Bible cover to cover dozens of times, and have those verses you're parroting memorized. I don't believe in the words in your holy book, or the words in any other religious holy book.

However, I think it interesting that you would elect to preach on a topic where yet again another minister is in trouble for not being able to keep his zipper zipped.

Prior to coming to this website, I did not know the nature thereof. I did not realize that it was specifically set up to promote anti-Christian views. I do believe, however, that if anyone (Christian or non-Christian) break the law, then they should be held accountable (Romans 13). Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap (Galatians 6:7). So that is why we have a legal system to sort through this matter....Justice shall prevail. And if any child truly has been hurt, then that child needs restoration, healing, etc. But above all, the Lord is available to help all who call upon His name out of a pure heart.

Now that I realize that I'm on an anti-Christ sight, I leave you these words: I shall no longer give that which is holy unto the dogs of this website, neither cast my pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend me (St. Matthew 7:6). I've shared the gospel message of Jesus Christ to those who reject Him; I now return my peace back unto me. It shall therefore now be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for the promoters and supporters of this anti-Christ website....

Let's face it Elder, you're the one who wants to watch people you don't like roast in hell for eternity. And the threats, false accusations and self-righteousness aren't helping your cause.

Elder Wallace said “And if any child truly has been hurt, then that child needs restoration, healing, etc. But above all, the Lord is available to help all who call upon His name out of a pure heart.”

I know Elder Wallace probably won’t be back to answer this because he got his evangelizing ass kicked, but I’ll ask it anyway...

Elder why in the HELL didn’t god or jesus just prevent this? Is god on some sort of time clock and he only intervenes from 8 to 5 heaven time? God will heal or restore after the damage is done, with the stipulation of course, that the injured party call upon him, with the additional proviso that they have a “pure heart”. Sounds like a real caring character, this lowlife you worship Elder.

With your parting shot referencing Sodom and Gomorrah, we know you’re showing us that true christian love fundies like you are so famous for.

Yall people don't know this man yall just go what buy the news say and they are wrong to becuase they did no invesagation on this. They did this so quickly because he is a paster and they want to tear down his carcter down and they don't know if it is true

Anonymous Astreja said...
What "carcter", Anonymous? This pastor doesn't have one to defend. Read the story. His criminal record goes back to 1989. This is a serial child molester, not a holy man above reproach.

Still more evidence that the "Word of God" and the "Holy Spirit" are powerless figments of the imagination.
