This is very interesting. Back in the day when I was a youth leader, the pastors wanted us to "lay hands on people and pray for them" which I was very uncomfortable with. I never did. I used to constantly be worried that any one of those young girls, if they wanted to screw up my life just cause they don't like my face, could make a claim like that and then my life would be over. Shortly after that I quit the youth group... shortly after that I became an atheist... neither having to do with the other.

Now don't anyone be too hard on this youth pastor. Afterall, we know that he was probably just trying to exorcise a demon out of her. It was all in the name of Jesus for the cause of spiritual cleansing. HALLELUJAH! Praise GAWD for a faithful pastor like David Griffith, who has the parishoners' best interests at heart! He is an instrument of God's salvation! This young girl must feel relieved that her soul has been redeemed!

Or maybe, the young girl was an instrument of Satan's deception, and was used as a hinderance to the gospel. No one can expect this vulnerable man to have kept his hands of this vile temptress! She is destined for Hell, unless she confessess the sin of her looseness, and allows Mr. Griffith to lay hands on her in the name of the LAWD! That will be sure to deliver her of that Jezebel spirit she has in her.

In either case, Mr. Griffith can not be held responsible and instead should be commended.

The only thing worse than a pastor is a "youth pastor" who brainwashes young and impressionable minds,...he got what he deserved!
I hope this wakes him up to the dangers of manipulating and lying to teenagers !

O.k., so maybe this youth pastor was never a "true christian." That omniscient holy spirit failed to alert the other church members that something just wasn't right with that guy. Perhaps causing people to babble maniacally in so-called tongues is a more worthwhile activity.

I believe there's a message from God somewhere in this! This Holy-God-Blessed youth pastor was no doubt checking to see if she was (infact a virgin) God works in mysterious ways! Gods ways are not our ways! Who are we to make judgement?

Let the one that has never sinned cast the first stone! Let the one that has never grouped and fondled a little child, cast the first stone. Not one is worthy of the Kingdom of God! God is not willing that anyone should perish, but everyone does!

I feel a miracle coming on! Thank you Jesus, for the miracle we are about to receive!

b) A distinct shortage of geting stoned/wasted
c)Being a man, this does not go well with "a" and "b"

Christian or not...really what the guy did aint like he raped the girl....He likely touched a tit and got a hard on and that was it....He is a human..I dont in anyway advocate doing this to a child..but what if he really didnt touch this girl....Say she didnt like him and told a BS story..The guy is now in jail and will likely go to a prison becasue some young girl lied "it does happen" I almost at one time becasme a youth pastor and I heard a true case of a girl 15 who lied and had her youth pastor locked up for 3 years in a state pen..then she got "born again" and came out and said that it was all bull shit...
Look the girl was 15+ so she knows better and most at her age are already having sex.She should have said to the youth pastor if he was touching her NO...if he continued then take more action....Likely the girl wants a lawsuit and money....Surely not a day and age to be a youth pastor if you are a honest youth pastor.
