A pastor was arrested in Cocoa Florida on charges he forced a member of his congregation to have sex. Police said the victim, a member of the congregation, believed the pastor to be her "spiritual advisor."
Police arrested 43-year-old Jesse French, the pastor of the Solid Life Ministries-Church of Disciples in Rockledge, Florida, on 10 counts of sexual battery and 15 counts of lewd and lascivious to a member of his congregation.
"She's been raised in a very tight very religious home and for someone to come in and turn something like this against her, it's just really appalling and unbelievable to me," said Detective Barbara Matthews, Cocoa Police Department.
Police said, three to four months ago, French told the victim that he needed to anoint her with oil, stating that God advised him to do so because the victim was tired. It was then, police said, French began by anointing the victim's arms and legs.
The victim told police that, around the beginning of March, French advised her that he needed to anoint her entire body. French allegedly told the victim to undress and he rubbed oil onto her body. It was at that time, police said, French sexually molested the victim and raped her.
"He finally convinced her, over a period of months, that she needed to be naked while he did this. Went from there to fondling her, to actual sexual intercourse," Matthews said.
The victim told police that they began having sexual intercourse, with French telling her he didn't need to wear a condom because he had had an "operation" and couldn't get her pregnant. French also allegedly forced the victim to fondle him.
Police said French wrote a letter to the victim, stating they needed to have three "one-hour "sessions" or "one three-hour session" in order to have the victim's "yoke" removed.
The first of their "sessions" was, according to police, June 19. The "session," police said, was sexual intercourse. The victim told police that, prior to that, she and French had sexual intercourse nine other times. The victim, police said, repeatedly told French that she did not want to have sex with him and that it was wrong.
"She kept telling him this was wrong, and he would quote scripture to her and convinced her this was God's will," Matthews said.
Members of the church locked the doors Tuesday and refused to make any official comment.
"No, we can't tell you anything. He's a good pastor," said an unidentified woman at the church. "We can't explain it."
Police are concerned that there may be other victims in French's congregation. According to police, since the bond, they have received two calls from anonymous women advising that they believed there were additional victims, but those victims have not come forward.
"He used a very deep belief system she had against her, and I just find it hard to believe this is his only victim," Matthews said.
French was being held in the Brevard County jail without bond. He refused requests for an interview. His attorney said French denies ever having sex with the woman.
French's previous criminal record: He was arrested a number of times for things such as battery, domestic violence, extortion, obstruction of justice, and violating injunctions or protective orders. Many of the cases were dropped, because victims or witnesses refused to cooperate.

That's because when you are a christian, you don't hold other christians accountable when they "sin." It's always blamed on satan, or not having enough faith, or not praying enough, etc.
How about this: maybe this pastor is just an abusing, narcissistic asshole who uses his authority to sexually abuse women.
Christians, wake up!
Michelle Mybell.

Dude! I need to find those scriptures he used so I can get laid with a hot Christian chick!
I just can't imagine someone being that stupid, I mean faithful.

Dan to Steve,
I have noticed that some of these people who post on this site, thinking they have inside info. about how to be a "True Christian" , and can fill in all the blanks for us, so that we can be saved also, start out by saying, "I'm a pastor, or, I"m a minister, or I have a Ph.D. in theology.
These are the ones I love to see post here. I guess it's the animal in me, because I know that some of the most analytical, logical, well read, scholarly, brilliant people in the world, are about to decimate every thing he is going to say.
I like to count down to the inevitable post, where they (The preachers, pastors, ministers teachers) say, that we are all angry Christian haters, and realizes that we are beyond help, and they are leaving, so don't bother replying to their last post, but they will pray for us.
It doesn't take a whole lot of brain power to realize that beliefs in the "mystical concepts" of heaven, hell God, Satan, etc. are basically indefensible, but these poor souls are not functioning on rational thought, they are running on hard core dogmatic fear that has been instilled into them by their cult, and have been told that if they use their brains to try to reason their way out, they are going straight to hell.
I suppose I shouldn't enjoy seeing the pathetic reasoning of these people torn to shreds by the master "Shredders" on this site, and quite often do feel sorry for some of the less sophisticated ones, but I will have to admit that when a new "Pastor, or Minister, or youth minister," just accidentally comes across "ex-Christian," my hormones seem to go into high gear.
I can visualize all of the success these intelligent Type "A" people have had with their unsophisticated "Flocks," and how the young Christians "on fire for Jesus" have referred to THIER superior faith and knowledge, and THEIR ability to answer all questions Biblical. How they move among their peers with a quiet humble grace that comes from being in charge, and knowing it.
What they don't realize though is, (because typically they don't seem to spend much time reading here), they think we have just been stewing in our disbelief, because no one of THEIR caliber has ever come by here, someone with THEIR credentials, someone who really knows what Jesus taught about love, etc.
They start out promulgating all of their favorite explanations, for all the difficult questions, or challenges if you will, thinking that we will be just like the wide eyed unsophisticated people that they are used to dealing with, and we will buy the stuff that they have had so much success with in the past.
I can just tell that some of these "teachers" go home or to church and tell their brothers and sisters in Christ how successful they were at answering our questions and challenges.
After being systematically torn to shreds by, (you know who they are ), a few times, you can start to see something very predictable happen. These "teachers" will start picking and choosing posts or parts of posts, and begin quoting bible verse's, totally ignoring the fact that most of OUR disbelief comes from the lack of rationality in the bible.
The typical pastor, teacher very quickly will start debating ancient history, because this is where he feels comfortable. He will go on forever talking about Jewish history, as if it meant anything at all.
He will avoid like the plague questions about anything requiring logic, or rational thought. He will totally abstain from discussing any of the more idiotic concepts like: Why would a supreme being that created everything need or want us to worship him?
: Why is the central theme of Christianity all about a "Pagan Blood sacrifice" to him, instigated by him, to atone for sin that he created in us in the first place?!
These questions about the basic nature of God and the fact that no one really knows what God is, or what it is, seem to be off limits for the Christian apologists. They are not used to anyone asking questions about the basic irrationality of religious belief, and the Christian beliefs as propagated by the bible in particular.
Eventually they will come to some sort of self realization that quoting Bible verses and talking about history isn't cutting it, and just disappear, and I suppose no worse off from their exposure, to brains that have not been turned off, indeed some of them will as a parting shot say: "All of your disbelief in my relationship with, my walk with, Jesus, has done nothing but strengthen my faith", which is about what they should have said in the first place.
"I believe Jesus loves me, cause the bible tells me so"
Dan (Agnostic because the only God I know, is, "the reason for everything" and I don't know what that is, and believe no one else does either)
Here it is you said,
(The preachers, pastors, ministers teachers) say, that we are all angry Christian haters, and realizes that we are beyond help.
And further down you said,
they think we have just been stewing in our disbelief, because no one of THEIR caliber has ever come by here, someone with THEIR credentials, someone who really knows what Jesus taught about love, etc.
I think you hit on it exactly, something I've neglected to see.
I think I fell for the same thing the first time I seriously read the Bible and loved what it said at that time.
The Bible spoke to me subliminaly, (by my own inner voice that I wanted to perceive as being God talking to me)
It said to me, you have been elected to share with the world, this new Gospel. The world is lost! You have been elected and chosen to spread this new word. You have been elected to look under every rock and nook and cranny and caves and bridges where the Atheists and the God haters and the whoremongers live and in the gutter and the stench where the drunks and Satan worshippers live.
You my new Christian disciple, have a duty to fulfill, you must follow the righteous path and pick Atheists and God haters up by the collar and dust them off and set them on the straight and narrow path, that I have vested my knowledge(gospel)in you.
Now you have received this superior knowledge and people will rebel and persecute you and this will be the sign that you are on the righteous path.
In other words this Biblical knowledge has been hidden from Atheists and whoremongers and idolators and drunks and sinners, that is the only reason that they reject his holy word.
What makes a prescher or x-tian unique is their ability to receive and to grasp his holy word, because God has predestined them to recieve his blessing and grace and therefore their calling is totally legitimate. Their title of preacher or christian, etc. takes presidence and priority over all worldly authority.
Therefore anyone not willing to accept his holy word will certainly be burning in God's Holy Bar-Bee-Q for ever, this includes all Atheists, whoremongers, adulterors, sinners, drunks, devil worshippers, witches, homosexuals, infidels, Jews, Muslims, Hindu's, Buddha's, etc. or anyone that is not a Christian, and does not accept Jesus as their personal saviour.
This would of course exclude all preachers of the christian faith and Christians.
So by their calling, everyone that does not receive this calling and blessing from God, they are already doomed to Hell, we non-believers are less than them, we are not worthy to be spit on, we do not have Biblical understanding, we are as insects, we are viewed by Christians, as demon infested swine.
After coming out of Christainity I feel the same way towards them.
Paul, the lunatic, turned his written texts round to make people think that they were given a special message and gospel to spread, so that the self-rightous would think that they were coming out, smelling like roses and all others were condemned to his invented Hell.
What a mess, it's all psychological bullshit.
Thanks Dano
Look at John's case.
He has several degrees, even studying under William Lane Craig.
And yet a woman he worked for accused him of rape, as he describes in the biographical section of his book.
Of course, he was married to "a good woman" (whom he later left) but he had been having an affair with the accuser.
You see, she was a lying con artist and an ex stipper.
I can imagine few personal tradjedies that could be greater and lead to atheism...to be seduced by an ex stipper! (I wonder if she was a D cup?)
What a temptation!
What torture!
How cruel!
And who does he blame! God and the stipper!
(Yes pretty faces and lucious tits indicate what an evil world this is!!!)
