QUEENS NY-- The pastor of a Westbury, LI, church has been charged with sexually abusing his three daughters at their Rockaway residence over the last 4½ years.

"What allegedly happened to these children is every child's and every mother's worst nightmare" district attorney Richard A. Brown said. "Even after the physical abuse has stopped, the consequences of such sexual assault for victims are profound and can result in emotion trauma from which they may never recover."

Morales Saintilus, 53, of Rockaway, Queens, pastor of the Eben-Ezer Baptist Church, located at 859 Prospect Avenue in Westbury, is being held pending arraignment in Queens Criminal Court on four counts of incest, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of sexual abuse in the second degree.

If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison. According to court records in Queens Criminal Court, it is alleged that the defendant, between July 2001 and January 2006, had sexual intercourse with his eldest daughter approximately twice a week. The daughter is presently 19 years old. It is further alleged that the defendant, between September 2004 and June 2005, sexually abused his two younger daughters on a total of 17 occasions. At the time of the incidents, both daughters were less than 14 years old.

"If convicted...faces a sentence of four years". Only four years?? What kind of a sentence is that for ruining your daughters lives?? That is ridiculous!

Yeah I hate commenting on these stories because they just make me so sick. We're talking about real people ruined because of these christian hypocrite frauds. I'm so glad I decided to make a u-turn in life. I can't imagine continuing down that road I was going. I'm sorry to say but I was duped into believing this crap just like everyone else. Most Chrsitians are pretty sick for embacing a belief system that causes so much grief and hatred in this world.

They have reduced the sentences in so many cases because the jails are full, they allow plea barganing and then give probation.

The US spends more money on the running of jails than it does on the school system.

Such a fine example of a christian nation being backed by a god.

The wrath of God -- what better human analogy is there to this to a father who injures his children not because he enjoys it but because he has a relentless and unwanted compulsion? Anybody who believes that Yahweh is God is only a step away from adopting Yahweh's operating procedures and excuses.

Has anyone ever thought how incestuous churches are? Brothers and sisters meeting together in one
big family structure, some falling in love and then getting married?

(Sorry but I'm getting fed up
this sh....t!)

This monster gets 4 1/2 years for raping his own daughters while someone on a drug posession charge can get 20? There's something very, very wrong with America's justice system and I'm not talking about overcrowded jails either.

We have such screwed up priorities when it comes to our children. If this pastor was guilty of tax evasion, he'd be in the federal pen for a looong time. Yet hurting a child is still inconsequential because, well, they're just children...and female at that. And according to our biblicaly-based ethic, children and females are just property anyway.

So any crime against them is in our minds a property crime, like stealing a car, which incidently garners more prison time than most molestation charges.

Just...sickning.

To J.T Finally Freed'c comment,

People in all walks of life molest, not only Christians. I am A Christian and believe firmly in teh WOrd of GOd. These people who are going against that word and preaching it at the same time need to be severly punished, but to fault the belief as a whole is wrong. I do not condone this behavior and in fact am in the child welfare field. 4 years is not enough add another 1-2 zero's after that and that's a punishment. He stole his children's innocence and that a crime far worse than anything else

I just wanted to say that we do not know the whole story in this case. We only know one side. I think it is wrong of the news to put this situation put on blast like this by using names. If for some reason these accusations are not true his reputation and the family's reputation is destroyed. This could be a matter of the children trying to escape an overprotective father or a result of a family dispute......we just dont know. I also wanted to say to those non-believers that you should not be lookin at man to define faith. Man is not perfect we ALL make mistakes. I feel so sorry for those who dont believe Gods loving word. You are missing out on alot. Some things that will last for an eternity. But I just ask that you dont look at the mistakes of people to decide if religion is wrong. Read the Bible and pray for God to open our eyes and you will be amazed at his wonder!!!

I believe in the Bible too. Adam and Eve's kids must have married sisters. so must of Noah's grandkids.

I know plenty of Bible believing fundamentalists who have sex with their kids and other relatives. The south has more incest than people would believe.
