A Long Island pastor accused of repeatedly sexually abusing his three teenage daughters at their Queens home was held on $10,000 bail set Friday in Queens Criminal Court, authorities said.
Before Judge Alex J. Zigman, the pastor pleaded not guilty to two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and four counts of incest.
The pastor, 53, whose name has been withheld by Newsday to protect his daughters' identities, faces up to 4 years in prison if convicted.
His attorney, Sean McNichols, of Kew Gardens, said his client's family described the pastor as a "loving, caring father" and said they "entirely support him 100 percent." McNichols said the family was gathering bail money.
According to the Queens district attorney's office, the pastor had sex with his eldest daughter, now 19, about twice a week between July 2001 and last month. He sexually abused his two other daughters, at the time both were younger than 14, at least 17 times between September 2004 and last June, the office said.
The pastor was arrested and charged Thursday after his eldest daughter confided in a cousin and word finally reached the girl's mother. No one at the Nassau County church, which is affiliated with the American Baptist Church USA, could be reached Friday. The accused has been a pastor there since 1988. "This whole thing is devastating," said the Rev. James Stalling of the New York chapter of the American Baptist Church USA. "Everyone ... is in our prayers."

No man can say that Jesus Christ is Lord except by the Holy Spirit
Empty words that mean Fuck All.
Just tell them Jesus loves you this is gods will. Then completely fuck up their lives.
Religion . Don't do it . It will fuck you up.
In the name of Jesus.
This guy only demonstrates how easy it is to be fooled if your fearful.
There is no better place to hide than Christianity if your evil.
Just imagine .This guy could be your neighbor in heaven.
Where the fuck was Jesus when all this shit went down.
Religion and god is like a ball of silly putty, you can shape it and mold it to any form that suits you, and you can bounce it against the floor and it will hit you right in the face.
All churches are insane asylums, it's so very obvious that Paul and Jesus and all the bible writters were completely insane, they and preachers are proof that the whole religious comminity is completely insane. This is not hatred, I'm just plainly stating a fact.
And behind their backs, he was raping them...SICK!!!
Repeat after me: "Wild sex with intelligent, willing adults good. Fearful compulsive liberties taken with children bad."
Christian adolescent boys: The Bible is not true; God will not smite you if you mature into a man.
Come out and Pllllaaayyyy!!!
Where are our drive-by christian mice for this one?
The webmaster has gone over the top again by posting more evidence about the christian leaders of the world - shame, shame webmaster...
That pastor really never had an actual Holy Ghost (myth) experience. He could not have been a real christian and rape his daughters. Real christians don't do that...ever... Because if they do, the "REAL" christians dis-own them (at that exact moment, not one second before) and proclaim them Heretics and "false"/"cultural"/"never had the real experience" christians.
Where are you "God Warriors"? Terrorizing your family with your God Warrior war-paint on your face?
The man is a pastor. Why can't you accept the fact that he represents your faith? He wasn't the guy who comes by and cleans the heater vents once a year. He makes his living from tax exempt donations by parishioners who are paying him to tell them how to live their lives.
The webmaster doesn't post every parking ticket by people who may have been a christian at one point in their lives. This is not frivolous posting. Most of the criminals posted by the Webmaster are Pastors. You people amaze me, seriously!!!
It means something to select the clergy as a career. Many pastors must go through a rigorous University program. Many are required to have Master's Degrees or PhD's. Many have to be ordained. It requires a committment to a lifestyle that should be about helping their fellow man. They go to hospitals for sick people; they perform ceremonies, including: marriages, baptisms, funerals; they prepare sermons that advise people on how they should live their lives. It is not a casual pursuit.
Now, in your own little humble opinion, this guy is only a pedoaephile. Not a Pastor, not a christian (never was, never will be), just a criminal.
If your religious leaders do not represent your religion, then why do you go to church? Who represents you, then? Jesus Christ? He needs to show-up for work. The guys he has "representin'" are fu*king-up all over the place. If I took the next ten minutes, I could not list down all of the christian leaders who are seriously tarnishing JC's reputation and that is just the famous ones. Add all of the misdeeds of the PASTORS that the Webmaster has posted over the past couple of years...
I was on a white supremist website (Christian identity) prior to stumbling onto this site. BTW I am a Black female. And the posters on that board use similar tactics that I see many posters using here. The similarities are disturbing. Visit some of those sites and you will understand what I am talking about.
Because they HATE ALL Blacks they continually and exclusively list, post news reports of the worst in our community i.e. the rapists, the lazy, the violent, the thiefs, the evil. And use these cases, which ARE NOT the majority to PROVE why their hate and prejudice is justified. So with every news report of a black person committing a crime the 'white supremist congregation' sings..."see I told you all niggers are mud people, they all animals, they have no morals, etc."
How can one individual or even a few be representative of an entire race/group of people?
And the thing that kills me is they never, EVER mention the acts of the loving, kind, hardworking heroes in our community. They actually appear to be TERRIFIED of those black individuals who prove the OPPOSITE of everything they believe they believe to be true... why do you think they are so afraid of blacks such as MLK jr., Oprah?
So yes are there some evil, criminal black people even I dislike? Absolutely YES!
Do they represent me as a black person?
Absoluetly NO!
Were the 911 terrorists Muslim?
Absoultely YES!
Do they represent all Muslims?
Absolutely NO!
Are there gay men who are very sexually promiscuous?
Absolutely Yes!
Do they represent all gay men?
Absolutely NO!
Are they Christians who kill and rape?
absolutely YES!
Do they represent all Christians?
Absolutely NO!
I dont understand how anyone can LABEL or HATE an entire group of people. Especially an individual who labels themself as intelligent and someone who seeks the TRUTH.
So can I understand being an ex-Christian?
Absolutely YES!
Can I understand someone hating and labelling all Christians?
Absolutely NO!
Who are you calling 'you people'?
Interesting that is a popular term many racist white people often use towards blacks. Lumping people into one category.
Because I expressed an open-minded viewpoint about Christians do you automatically conclude that I am a Christian? Is that why you immediatley resorted to calling me a Mouse?
Do you believe all ex-christians think alike? Can they not have their own opinions about Christianity? Are we all not individuals on this board who should be judged individually and not as whole?
For someone who called me a Mouse you are the one who appears to have a small mind!
Why all the anger? Was there a need to insult me or refer to me with a demeaning term? What have I personally done to you, except voice my valid opinions on a website.
Chill out
Let me start by explaining why I refer to you as "Mouse". It is short for Anony-Mouse or Anonymous. It has become a tradition here. We give some indication of ourselves (whether our actual name or a pseudo-name so that we know who is posting). The drive-by christians wander through, leave their pile of shit and never make themselves known or leave a clue if it is even the same person who posted last week or last year. You need to get over yourself. "Mouse" does not refer to someone's mental capacity.
Second, nice try, but I am not falling for it. You Said: "I was on a white supremist website (Christian identity) prior to stumbling onto this site. BTW I am a Black female. And the posters on that board use similar tactics that I see many posters using here."
Then you came back with: "I dont understand how anyone can LABEL or HATE an entire group of people."
And for icing on the cake: " Who are you calling 'you people'? Interesting that is a popular term many racist white people often use towards blacks. Lumping people into one category."
There is something that you need to understand, here. ALL OF US are exchristians, hence the title of the group. We are here because we had LONG Histories of abuse, stolen lives and came to the realization that christianity is nothing more than a system of control. You cannot shame me. I really don't care what you think about me. That may work in your church, where it is all about control, but it doesn't work here.
I just read my post again and I do not see one word specifically saying that I label or hate an entire group of people. You may assume that, but that would be YOUR assumption. You are using logic from the current administration, "either you are with us or you must be against us" if you do not agree with their policies. I do not agree with your system of control. I don't hate you. I just want my life back.
You danced all around the parts that meant anything in my post. I am saying that the LEADERS of your religion should be above reproach. I will let you and anyone read my post again without copying it here (it's the one that starts with "Mouse").
It is all part of that smugness that turned-off most of us to your little system. You think that you have Gawd on your side, therefore, we can't say anything against you. If you got a parking ticket, we are not using you as the poster child of a fu*ked-up religion. We are using your LEADERS. Your LEADERS suck. George Bush sucks. I criticize the King George Whitehouse and I criticize Christianity because they both have fu*ked-up LEADERS!!!
Care to address the content of my post or do you just want to play your little race card and preach to me? White supremists and exchristians have NOTHING in common, except in your own fu*ked-up head where it is unpartriotic to disagree with YOU. Nice try...
A totally new trifecta:
A driveby "holier than thou"...
A driveby race baiter...
A driveby "free association-ist"...
Not one of these articles is about a regular, man-in-the-street Christian. These articles are about pastors, supposed leaders of the flocks.
When the leaders of a movement are bad, it needs to be pointed out.
Wow I really touched a nerve with you. You sound so angry? Hmmm I wonder why? I guess as they say the truth hurts.
There you go again lumping me into one damn pot.
What I said...
"Because I expressed an open-minded viewpoint about Christians do you automatically conclude that I am a Christian? Is that why you immediatley resorted to calling me a Mouse?
Do you believe all ex-christians think alike? Can they not have their own opinions about Christianity?"
No where in my post did I imply or say I am a Christian.
So your assumption about me is WRONG.
I just dislike people who are prejudiced against any group of people. That includes gays, Muslims, Christians, poor people, etc.
I did not realize everyone who does not think EXACTLY like you do cannot be an ex-Christian. And I did not realize that if someone posted under the Anonymous title they were automatically assumed to be a Christian...'my bad'. I do that on any board were they make that an option...just habit no sinister motives.
Bob says...
"Your LEADERS suck. George Bush sucks. I criticize the King George Whitehouse and I criticize Christianity because they both have fu*ked-up LEADERS!!!"
I am my own leader. Only a fool puts someone man up on a pedestal. I have to agree with you that your LEADER GB sucks. But you know what, I have the ability to seperate a group of people from their messed up leader. I dont think your entire country is messed up due to the actions of your president and your current govt. You should try thinking like that sometime.
BTW I am a proud Canadian!
I have had the luxury of travelling to various countries around the world and you know what, when the discussion of Americans come up they are always labelled as LOUD, RUDE, FAT, STUPID, DOMINEERING, OBNOXIOUS, ARROGANT people. It is actually amazing how disliked you Americans are around the world. And mainly because people cannot seperate the average American from your govt policy/your LEADERS. Whether I was in Boulkrans, South Africa, in a bar in Australia, talking to a cabbie in London England or my hometown of T.O. Canada Americans are put down worldwide. I would say its the most hated country in the world. And Americans are the only travellers who I met who 'pretend' not to be American because of the prejudgements and bad treatment they get. Some even go to the length of wearing Canadian flag pins on their back packs/luggage. LOL. And I say to these individuals exactly what I said to you. "Yes there are some Americans who are like that but not all or even most."
So according to your logic and the logic of these anti-American individuals... if the LEADERS are messed up it is a reflection on the individuals/the entire country.
Damn Bob you should give up your American citizenship if that is the case or get rid of your leader...because of him you and your entire country is messed up, as most of the world believes.
Ms. trifecta
First I would like to thank you for responding to me in a mature and respectful manner. BTW I think you have a very interesting website. And everyone needs to feel like they are HEARD and that they BELONG and are RESPECTED. Especially in a society where you are in a minority group. As a non-Christian black female I totally understand that.
The issue I have is are you saying that all Christian leaders are bad?
Was MLK jr. bad? Who was a Christian minister. Was his wife bad...a Christian who spoke up for the rights for gays? (BTW I cussed off those idiots at godhatesfags.ccom who picketed her funeral because she spoke out for gay rights. god forbid she have a different opinion then them and still consider herself a Christian)
'When the leaders of a movement are bad, it needs to be pointed out.'
I totally agree that the bad ones need to be pointed out.
All I am saying is that not 'all' the LEADERS of the Christian movement are bad. To say or imply that is totally untrue! And that is what I take issue with. And the actions of the bad ones should not discredit the good ones.
I just dont understand how the bad leaders of any movement reflects on the ENTIRE movement and the entire group of people.
I am not a Christian anymore either. But I also dont feel the need to justify my exchristian choice by labelling all Christian leaders or followers as bad people. I know that is not factual. I am an exchristian simply because my belief system changed based on my new life experiences and new found knowledge and not based on the actions of some messed up priest who was a child molester.
Ms Trifecta
MLK was no doubt a great Civil Rights Activist, but sad to say, he adhered to a god concept that enslaved his race.
He would have been more effective leader had he not fell for such a concept. He would have opened up many black minds to let them see exactly the real reasons why they were mistreated.
What do you think?
But we are not talking about MLK here, are we? If MLK did what the story is about, I guarantee it would have been posted here for comments.
~by the way, I’m a black female~
I never said all of any group anywhere were bad. That's not even implied.
What is implicitly stated is that the claims of Christianity are terribly flawed. Christians are supposedly inhabited by the Holy Spirit, who is magically transforming them from heinous hell-bound sinners into new creatures. "I am dead in Christ...it is Christ who lives in me," says the Apostle Paul.
Yet, here we see, time and time again, that too many, too often, that claim to be filled with this magical ghost, are really screwed up.
Tragically, the ordinary Christian believer is taught to revere the priest, pastor, youth leader, etc. It's a perfect set-up for the victimization of innocents.
Part of the reason I abandoned Christianity is because I saw no real "Holy Ghost" power in the lives of Christian leaders. It's one thing when someone down in the pews is struggling. It's quite another when many of the people running the show are apparently there just for the money...or the sex.
Again, I say many, not all - many.
Too many.
Read the disclaimer page linked in the upper right hand corner, that may help you understand the purpose of this site. It was set up as a place for ex-Christians to meet each other. Ex-Christians are a severely under represented and marginalized minority group. "There's no such thing as an ex-Christian" is a clarion call we've all heard hundreds of times here from the "true" Christians.
I started posting these stories when fundies insisted on comparing non-believing leaders with various evil dictators of the 20th century. The point of these comparisons was to say that all Christian leaders are good and all atheist leaders are bad. There is a misconception in Christianity that without Christ is to be without morality.
I am without Christ and I would never commit the heinous crimes committed by these Christian leaders described in these stories.
Does that mean that ALL Christian leaders do bad things? Of course not. People are people. Some are good - some are bad. That's reality.
What is fantasy is that there is some magical sky-daddy that will transform bad people into good ones and will angrily cast everyone else into eternal torment for having the wrong, or no, religion.
I hope you hang around a bit longer. It's easy to misjudge things from only a cursory examination.
Christians, especially the leaders, are claiming supernatural power - Holy Ghost power - the power of the Blood - the power to overcome sin - "We are conquerors through Christ" - "All things work together for good for those who love God" - and on, and on, and on...
Conclusion? Christians and their leaders are just regular people - religiously deluded people, but plain old regular people.
Ultimately, that's the major point with all these horrible stories - there is NO magical, supernatural, all powerful, all knowing, HOLY SPIRIT that is guiding or protecting Christians - not even in church.
Christianity is just another mind twisting cult, that's all. If a religion helps someone to be a better person, fine. However, I would wager that a real "better person" was a better person to begin with, and regardless of what religion that person now claims, the religion really has nothing to do with improving the person. If the person improved after adopting the religion, the improvement came from that person's own force of will.
"MLK was no doubt a great Civil Rights Activist, but sad to say, he adhered to a god concept that enslaved his race.
He would have been more effective leader had he not fell for such a concept. He would have opened up many black minds to let them see exactly the real reasons why they were mistreated.
What do you think?"
Well his main civil rights movement principle, 'non violent resistance', was based on the views of Ghandi and not Jesus.
as you probably know Black churches, and barber and beauty shops in the South were the only places of refuge and sense of community for blacks during that time. The significance of the black churches was just as much a 'social meeting place' as it was about religion. And I think this is why if you are going to a black beauty shop or church you are there all damn day, even in 2006 LOL. And therefore the cornerstone of the civil rights movement, that is the reason why so many churches were bombed.
So I dont think MLK jr or any black civil rights leader could have been effective if he wasnt a church leader. Malcolm X included.
Just a few of my thoughts.
Ms Trifecta
"Does that mean that ALL Christian leaders do bad things? Of course not. People are people. Some are good - some are bad. That's reality."
Thanks for clarifying your thoughts.
Thanks for explaining the reasons why you post these articles. Makes more sense now.
I just hope as an ex-christian I can voice my opinions here on this site and not be attacked even if they are not exactly what the majority thinks...because I am an individual. Respectful adult conversation and debate is what I am about.
Ms. Trifecta
That's why I do my own hair girl! lol
Anyhow, thanks for your imput.
"That's why I do my own hair girl! lol"
Yup me too, going natural means I am not sitting captive in a hairdressers chair for 10+ HOURS a month! LOL But sometimes I do miss the humour, gossip and hott conversations you only get to experience in that chair. But I will just let my friends keep me updated.
