Have not believers used this against us for as long as they have been around? And why not? It's worked like a charm! We cannot allow them to win. By not advertising our presence and not joining together in protest, we are allowing them to reign with so little resistance it's laughable. We cannot be afraid, for letting this cold war of intimidation work is to invite in the what we most dread, the theocracy! You think you're scared to come out now? Well, if nothing is done, and on a much larger scale than ever mounted before, it will be the end of our country as we know it. The theocrats have been dismantling the wall of separation at a frantic pace since Dubya first came to office. With his permission, faith-based scams have dolled out over 1 billion dollars in tax payer funds! 1 billion!!! And it keeps getting worse! The pledge ruling was struck down on the grounds that Michael Newdow didn't have standing. So what?! Who cares?! What about the glaring fact, the meat of the case, that it was unconstitutional to insert "under god" in the first place? Does the founding document of this great constitutional republic garner that little respect? Now we await the Supreme Court's ruling on whether or not the Ten Commandments, displayed on public property, amount to an endorsement of religion. Hello! It's a no-brainer! Of course it does! Anyone who says the Ten Commandments are not religious is either ignorant or a liar. Where is the alleged source of said commandments? Would it be a god? Are gods and goddesses not religious? Is that not the height of sophistry? Before this case is decided we must show our numbers on a massive scale. We must all come out -- we number in the millions! We must all come out and let this country's fundamentalists know that we will not stand for their terrorism! We will not avert our eyes to their crimes! We will not stand idly by while they wipe their asses with our constitution! We will not let a Dark Age fall upon us! We will fight! ~Reverend AtheiStar Email me @ nothingfailslikeprayer@hotmail.com http://www.reverendatheistar.com http://www.cafepress.com/ftlshop Add this page to: 0 Comments: Post a Comment | Create a Link | Post in the Forums | Permalink Quickly catch up on comments posted to various articles on http://exchristian.net by clicking here.
